This project is for the renovation of employee restrooms at the St. Johns County Jail located at 3955 Lewis Speedway, St. Augustine, FL 32084. Work shall include, but not limited to, all labor, materials, equipment, and any other items necessary to complete the work, per the Bid Documents. Scope: Demo Light switches, outlets, ceiling/wall mounted light fixtures (flush mounted light fixtures bto be reconditioned), Plumbing fixtures, lavatory hangers, mirrors, door closers, floor and base tiles. Where noted on spec. sheet demo counter tops, cabinets, wall tile, and partitions. Remove for reuse Wall mounted fire alarm devises, paper dispensers, soap dispensers, hygiene dispensers, and hangers. Wall mounted fire sprinkler heads will not be removed. Floor and wall prep patch masonry floors and walls with the appropriate material to provide a smooth surface for tile installation. Small holes and cracks in drywall shall be filled with foam or other appropriate material, larger holes shall be cut out and new drywall placed to make a smooth surface for tile installation. Install New Floor tile and base, marble threshold, wall tile to ceiling, plumbing fixtures, lavatory carrier, electrical switches, outlets and covers, LED ceiling/wall mounted lights, (flush mounted lights to be reconditioned to look new with LED bulbs), counter tops and cabinets, ADA grab bars, patch & paint door and frame (both sides), patch ceiling smooth and paint, prep and paint AC vents, prep and paint ceiling track, prep and paint fire sprinkler pipe, prep and paint window opening. Door clearance Cut door bottoms to a minimum of 1/2 inch clearance above threshold/tile. Reinstall Wall mounted fire protection devises, dispensers, and hangers. County representativewill provide to contractor new dispensers if required.
