The City of Henderson, Nevada, is soliciting responses from qualified construction managers/general contractors (Proposer) for the performance of Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) services for the addition of one (1) new Parks & Recreation Maintenance Building to be located at Montagna Park in Via Inspirada (Project). The building will house one (1) new equipment maintenance bay, one (1) workroom w/ small kitchen, two (2) offices, one (1) gender-neutral restroom, one (1) exterior mechanical enclosure, and one (1) new MDF closet. The size of the building is approximately 1,460 SF and should be constructed out of load bearing CMU blocks (exterior) and metal stud framing for all other walls (Interior). CMAR will also be responsible for grading approximately 1.5 acres. The Construction identified shall improve inefficiencies and incorporate future staff needs and growth projections. Question Cuttoff Date & Time 9/12/2024 12:00:00 PM (PT) 10/16/2024 12:00:00 AM (PT) Step 2 - Presentations/Interviews With Shortlisted Firms liquidated damages in the amount of Five Hundred Dollars ($500) per business day Pre-construction services are anticipated to begin in the fourth quarter of 2024 with the construction document phase. The City will work with the selected CMAR to determine the best overall project schedule in order to be complete by summer 2025 (actual completion date to be determined based on project needs)
