Mobilization and installation are estimated to start in November 2024. Notice to proceed will be provided contingent upon necessary approvals. The work includes removing and disposing of the existing barrier wall along the eastbound State Route 91 Express Lanes and constructing a new barrier wall in accordance with the length and height specifications included in the design plans. The Contractor must maintain compliance with Caltrans standards. The required traffic control plans will be prepared and implemented to minimize disruption during construction, and necessary permits or licenses, such as the Caltrans Encroachment Permit, will be obtained for the project's duration and the Caltrans license will be concurrent with the procurement. Part C - Contract Plans ("SR-91 Plan Set 95%") of the IFB has the design scope of the project plans for the barrier wall replacement. The location of work is adjacent to existing toll gantries. The contractor must coordinate with the Commission and the Toll Service Provider (TSP), Kapsch Traffic Com, throughout construction. Protection of the existing toll collection equipment will be necessary. The Contractor will work with the TSP to ensure toll collection equipment is protected from debris from the construction.
