Reference Number 0000361422 Job Location: 4314 Andover Road, Bloomfield Township Michigan Expand the underground storm water detention system with two additional runs of pipe cut into the existing header with 684 Lineal Feet of 60" HDPE pipe. The removal of 5550 square yards of existing pavement and installation of approximately 850 tons of HMA, 4EML leveling course, and 670 tons of HMA, 5EML wearing course in the revised and updated parking lot in a two-stage process. Install 356 Lineal Feet 4" wrapped corrugated slotted underdrain pipe. The project shall include all pavement restoration, surface restoration, traffic control, soil erosion control, dewatering and other miscellaneous items necessary to complete the work as indicated on the Plans and Specifications. Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % Each bid proposal shall be submitted on the proposal forms provided and shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond, executed by the bidder and Surety Company, payable to the Township of Bloomfield in the amount of Five Percent (5%) of the accompanying bid. Proposal Guarantee shall provide assurance that the bidder will, upon acceptance of the bid, execute the necessary Contract with Bloomfield Township. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance, Labor and Material, and Maintenance and Guarantee Bonds. No bid may be withdrawn after scheduled closing time for receiving bids for at least sixty (60) days. All Bidders must meet the requirements set forth in the Township's prequalification statement. The Township will require at least three (3) satisfactory municipal references for similar work in the last two (2) years in Michigan for all contracts with a value greater than $50,000.00. Bloomfield Township reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive irregularities in bidding.
