The proposed work includes: removal of existing improvements, construction of a new concrete sidewalk connections, ramps, entrances, storm drainage, and handicap raised domes at street intersections, pavement marking, and miscellaneous improvements. All sidewalks, entrance and street crossing and ramps are to be ADA compliant. All bidders must be on MoDOTs Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, 2023 Edition including all revisions. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening. Submit All E-Verify Information. A certified or cashier=s check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. A DBE goal of FIVE (5% ) percent has been established for this project. All DBE=s must be certified and be listed in either the MoDOT DBE Directory or the MRCC DBE Directory. Contractor must include Page DBE 7.1 and declare DBE percentage in Bid package. The City of Scott City reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The project will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder No second tier subcontracting will be allowed on this project.
