A. Refer Building Assessment Report dated April 4, 2024. 1. This report provides overall building information for the existing conditions and the repair demands, along with photographs, design details, and quantities for each building that needs repair. B. Refer Building Assessment & Materials Outline dated February 5, 2024 1. This report provides detailed information on replacement materials and specifications for the project. These materials are the basis of design. C. Mold Remediation / Testing is a part of the scope of the work. Due to exposure to the elements, mold is present at the site. The selected contractor shall include site mold testing and remediate the mold that is present. The design team has been coordinating with Precision Restoration on mold issues. 1. Since the extent of mold damage cannot be fully identified until demolition, the mold remediation / testing may extend past the limits of the bid documents. If discovery of mold is outside the bid documents, the scope of work shall be adjusted through an approved change order. Public Works Maintenance Facility Storm Repairs The City of Shawnee reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
