The project scope of the Mordecai Park Public Restroom Building Roof Replacement project (the Project) involves the replacement of the existing roof with a new 24-gauge galvanized metal roof at the detached public restroom within Mordecai Park at 1 Mimosa St, Raleigh, NC 27604, a City of Raleigh public park. Refer to Project Plans and Project Manual for completion description of the project scope and limits of work. Question Deadline 09/05/2024 at 5:00 PM ET Questions will be received ONLY in written form. The deadline to submit written questions to the Owner's Contact noted above is Final addendum will be released no later than close of business on September 17, 2024. Email questions to Ellis Cayton at ellis.cayton@raleighnc.gov. The bidder is required to furnish surety as specified in the General Conditions. Upon failure to do so, the bidder agrees to forfeit to the Owner the attached cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid proposal. Description of Work The Contractor, at its own proper cost and expense and with skill and diligence, shall furnish all labor, tools, materials, and equipment and do all things necessary for the proper construction and completion ready for use of the following improvements: Remove existing roof and install a new 24-gauge galvanized metal roof at the detached public restroom at Mordecai Park. After Bids are opened, the Owner shall evaluate them in accordance with the methods and criteria set forth in the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner/City Council reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all Bids. Unless all Bids are rejected, Award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder, taking into consideration quality, performance and the time specified in the Bid Form for the performance of the Contract.
