Location: 1391 Main Street, Buffalo, NY 14209 The NFTA reserves the right to waive irregularities, to reject any or all bids, and to extend the bidding period. The Contractor shall perform not less than 35% of the Work with its own forces. The time of completion for NTP-1 is 45 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The time completion for NTP-2 is 60 calendar days. Refer to Technical Specification Section 01 11 00 Summary of Work for additional time constraints and milestones associated with this project. Bid security must accompany each bid and must be in an amount not less than ten percent of the total bid price if the base bid exceeds $50,000.00. Liquidated damages will be assessed against the Contractor for its failure to complete the project within the time specified as described in Technical Specification Section 01 11 00 Summary of Work. The NFTA goals for this procurement are 15% MBE, 15% WBE, & 6% SDVOB. Bids will be accepted either in offline (paper) or online (electronic) versions. Bids received after the date and time specified above for bid opening shall not be opened and/or considered for award. The project consists of one (1) contract; LRRT - Utica Station Limestone Replacement. The project will be implemented under two (2) Notice to Proceeds (NTP) as set forth in the Contract Documents. The Work of this project provides for repairs to the exterior facade of the above grade portion of the Utica Light Rail Rapid Transit (LRRT) station, including but not limited to, replacement of damaged limestone panels, CMU replacement, sealant joint replacement, and installation of fluid-applied waterproofing. Refer to the Contract Drawings, Project Manual and Technical Specifications for additional information.
