The project is in the City of Stuart, Florida (Latitude 27 11'5.06"N, Longitude 80 15'35.00"W) in the South Fork drainage basin. Stormwater runoff from a 27.39-acre urban residential development currently discharges directly to the St. Lucie River with a 1 st Generation Baffle Box as treatment. The project will remove nutrients and sediment and provide stormwater retention and is important for the City of Stuart to continue progress towards meeting BMAP requirements for the St. Lucie River.
