Reference Number 00004201026 Supply Ontario intends to qualify Bidders for a multi-vendor, enterprise-wide Vendor of Record arrangement for Disposal Services for End-of-Life Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE) and Batteries. This VOR will be for a period of five years and an optional two year extension for use by the Ontario Public Service (OPS) and available to non-OPS government entities on an optional basis. The procurement is for disposal service for end-of-life electrical and electronic equipment and batteries in a safe secure and environmentally sound manner, and for ongoing refurbishment and resale of computing assets. Vendors are required to provide products, services, and personnel to collect, transport, store, and dispose of electrical and electronic waste at various facilities. All client-identifying information must be removed from the assets. Vendors must implement a circular economy approach in the process to ensure that limited waste is sent to landfill. This Vendor of Record will contain a revenue sharing from the sales of assets and resources to generate the cost recovery to the Client. Vendors are expected to comply to all provincial and federal laws and regulations related to the collection, storing, transportation, and disposal of electrical and electronic waste. Examples of electrical and electronic assets: desktops, laptops, displays, mobile devices, printers, appliances, computer peripherals and batteries.
