Parking lot milling and repaving at Peter Herdic, 505 Center Street, Williamsport, PA and Round House Apartments, 565 Memorial Avenue Williamsport, PA General Description of Services. The purpose of this IFB is to award the Peter Herdic and Round House paving project contract to the lowest, responsive bidder: The contractor will be responsible for marking out the work areas and calling in a PA 1 Call so all utilities can be marked out for the paving work. Mill 4 inches of existing pavement out in both parking lots and 12 inches for concrete apron installation along Memorial Avenue entrances and dispose of millings properly. Repave both parking lots and ensure that pavement is sloped properly to all storm drains for proper water drainage. Peter Herdics parking lot is approximately 13,000 sq. ft. and Round Houses parking lot is approximately 18,000 sq.ft. Install concrete aprons 12 inches deep and 24 inches wide with an adequate amount of rebar 1/z or bigger at parking lot entrances for both parking lots along Memorial Avenue. Restripe all parking Lot lines upon paving completion. 2.1.6 Conditions/Contractor Responsibilities (in alpha order). The Agency Work Standards. It is the responsibility of each Contractor to ensure that each worker provided by the Contractor shall be fully trained and qualified to provide any assigned work. Accordingly, all work provided shall be guaranteed by the Contractor to be performed in a workmanlike manner and in accordance with all applicable laws, codes, and/or regulations, including, but not limited to: Uniform Building Code (UBC); Uniform Mechanical Code (UMC); Uniform Mechanical Code (UMC); National Electric Code, 2014 (NEC).
