The project consists of the removal of two (2) 400 KW generators, automatic transfer switches and associated equipment and the installation of one (1) new 400 KW generator, automatic transfer switch and associated equipment. The SAA facility currently utilizes (2) 400 KW Generac diesel generators connected in parallel to provide emergency power to the Main Emergency Distribution (MED) panelboard via two (2) automatic transfer switches (ATS-1 and ATS-2). The system is designed for redundancy and only one generator will be running at a time. The existing equipment is starting to reach end of life and is requiring extra maintenance and shutdowns and therefore require replacement. The Welcome Center is located across the street from the Main Terminal (the Rental Car Agencies are located in the Welcome Center as well) at 1200 Red Cleveland Blvd., Sanford, FL 32773. The time of completion for the Project work is anticipated to be 75 calendar days to achieve Substantial Completion. A Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the sum of the Total Bid Price will be required for this Project.
