The Barry Rose WRF and Longwood Project includes an expansion to the existing Barry Rose Facility including a new Headworks Building, Odor Control System, 6-Train Sequence Batch Reactor, SBR Filtration, UV Disinfection, Chlorine Chemical and Non-Potable improvements, Aerated Sludge Holding Basins and a New Dewatering Building. The Longwood Facility plant includes complete plant decommissioning and a new pump station to divert all flow from Longwood to Barry Rose. GMP2 includes all scopes of work on these two Facilities not previously bid out with GMP1 package (SBR Basin Concrete, Partial Civil/Site Work & Electrical/Equipment). Bid Packages are defined in McCarthy's Front-End Document with Work Category/Bid Package descriptions. McCarthy will be hosting a virtual prebid meeting (refer to Front End Document for Link/Date & Time). All RFIs to be submitted via email to McCarthy as outlined in the bidding documents. The project area is adjacent to the existing Barry Rose WRF located at 1902 1/2 Barry Rose Road, Pearland, TX 77581. The work shall consist of civil site work, yard piping, a new lift station, headworks, SBR basins piping and equipment installation, blower building, electrical buildings, administration building, sludge holding tanks, dewatering system, tertiary filters, ultraviolet disinfection. The Longwood work shall consist of civil, yard piping, concrete and mechanical work. Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment required and install complete and make operational electrical and process instrumentation systems at the City of Pearland's Barry Rose WRF Replacement & Expansion, as shown on the Drawings and as specified herein.
