DBE Goal : 15% Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Goal Location : New Castle County These improvements are more specifically shown on the Location Map(s) of the attached Plans The improvements consist of furnishing all labor and materials for this project which involves the replacement of the existing Bridges 1-488N&S, which are concrete arches. The proposed bridges will be adjacent prestressed concrete deck bulb tee beams on stub abutments. Additional work includes raising the roadway profile of US13 by reconstructing the roadway approaches, installing guardrail, and placing riprap in the stream for scour protection. Follow other incidental construction in accordance with the location, notes and details shown on the plans, and as directed by the Engineer. COMPLETION TIME: All work on this contract must be complete within 284 Calendar Days. Extensions of contract time due to weather are specified in the Standard Specifications Section 108.7F, weather days.
