The project consists of constructing a new 2,700-square foot (SF) maintenance building including garage area, restroom, storage room, and office; associated utility connections; and associated site clearing and improvements. The Work will be completed in all respects on or before the times specified in the proposal documents. Proposal documents are available online at no charge. Those downloading these free proposal documents will automatically become a plan holder and will receive addenda and updates. Proposers must register, set up to bid, and review each solicitation for which they intend to submit an electronic bid. Navigation of the online service is free until bidders select a solicitation for bidding and complete their purchase. Construction Cost Estimate: $500,000. Each proposer is required to furnish with its proposal a bid guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid guaranty furnished in bond form shall be issued by a surety company or corporation licensed to transact such business in the State of Ohio. To submit bonds electronically, proposers and their bonding agent's company need to be registered with one of the following agencies affiliated with the online service: Surety 2000 or online. The successful proposer will be required to furnish the additional bond(s) prescribed in the proposal documents. To perform public work, prior to contract award the successful proposer and subcontractors shall hold or obtain such licenses as required by State statutes and federal and local laws and regulations. In accordance with Section 4115.133 of the Ohio Revised Code, no proposer may submit a proposal if proposer, any of its officers, or proposer's subcontractors or their officers appear on Director of Commerce's list of violators of Section 4115.02 to 4115.16 of the Ohio Revised Code concerning payment of wages.
