The Town of Glendora Mayor and Board of Aldermen are assisting up to three (3) homeowners in accepting sealed bids for the reconstruction of their home and one (1) homeowner with rehabilitation of their home. The project includes reconstruction of up to three (3) existing homes. Section 3 of the Housing and Community Development Act 1968 requires that the Owner and contractors participating in this HOME project give opportunities for employment to lower income residents of the project area. The Town of Glendora is also an equal opportunity employer and hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that equal opportunity will be given in bid submittal and contract award. Women-owned and Minority-owned businesses are encouraged to bid.
