Estimated value is $30,000 to $40,000. The structure is a 300,000-gallon spheroid elevated water storge tank with a high-water level of 148 ft. located at 680 Division St. in Charlevoix, Michigan. Repairs: 1) Replace the wet interior roof hatch. 2) Install a cover over the condensate and top platform openings. 3) Replace the condensate drain line. 4) Overflow discharge modification. 5) Install fall prevention devices on the wet interior and basebell ladders. 6) Replace roof vent with a pressure vacuum vent. 7) Install a roof handrail with a painter's railing. 8) Weld a rigging lug on the transition cone. 9) Replace the corroded anchor bolt nuts. Liquidated damages are applicable and begin after 14 days out-of-service or after Substantial Completion date whichever is the earlier date. Liquidated damages at $1,250/calendar day is to apply after this date. Ready for Final Payment Date is to be thirty (30) days after date Substantial Completion Date based on out-of-service days or scheduled Substantial Completion, or as adjusted by Change Order, or actual Substantial Completion if earlier. Liquidated damages after Ready for Final Payment Date of $250/day is to apply. Liquidated damages are cumulative if damages from Substantial Completion and Ready for Final Payment overlap. Commence work on or after September 30, 2024. Substantial Completion by October 27, 2024, including cure and disinfection time. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
