The State of Utah - Division of Facilities Construction and Management (DFCM) is requesting bids for the construction of the following project: Project description: this project will remove the supply fan in the existing administration building air handler and replaced with a fan array. New vfds and control panels are to be provided by contractor. Existing air handler will be modified with lights and access doors along with full test and balance. Only Firms Pre-qualified During Stage I of the RFS Are Allowed to Bid on This Project Question Deadline 09/05/2024 at 3:00 PM MT online submission. Scope: Furnish all labor, materials and equipment necessary for a complete and operating Building Management System (BMS), utilizing Direct Digital Controls as shown on the drawings and as described herein. Drawings are diagrammatic only. All controllers furnished in this section shall communicate on a peer-to-peer bus over an open protocol bus (Examples: LonTalk, BACnet, MODBUS). 1. The intent of this specification is to provide a system that is consistent with BMS systems throughout the owner's facilities running the Niagara 4 Framework. 2. System architecture shall fully support a multi-vendor environment and be able to integrate third party systems via existing vendor protocols including, as a minimum, LonTalk, BACnet and MODBUS. 3. System architecture shall provide secure Web access using any of the current versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, or Google Chrome browsers from any computer on the owner's LAN. 4. All control devices furnished with this Section shall be programmable directly from the Niagara 4 Workbench embedded toolset upon completion of this project. The use of configurable or programmable controllers that require additional software tools for post-installation maintenance shall not be acceptable
