The Project includes the following Work: The City of Marianna proposes to harden and strengthen the resiliency of the City's wastewater collection and transmission system by implementing the following hazard mitigation strategy: PART A: (1) Flood proof and install an emergency generator at the Hillcrest Sewer Lift Station, (2) Install 7 permanent emergency generators and SCADA at 7 sewer lift stations sites, (3) Perform Road Improvements at West Manor lift station, (4) Harden Marianna's Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) against wind-blown storm debris; to include replacement of existing PVC reuse piping with stainless steel piping at plant headworks. To be considered, the respondent must submit one (1) manually signed original and one (1) hard copy of the SUBMITTAL in a sealed envelope or package, clearly marked with the respondent's name and address, and the words. "City of Marianna Generators Project: Part A." PART B: Provide two (2) trailer-mounted diesel 100kW generators and two (2) trailer-mounted diesel 35kW generators or an alternate two (2) trailer-mounted diesel 60kW generators. Small business and minority businesses, women's business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit proposals, and firms using such subcontractors are strongly encouraged to solicit such firms in the subcontracting process. Any Contracts/subcontracts issued under this procurement must comply with the necessary affirmative steps to assure that minority businesses, women's business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are used when possible, PID- HMGP 4399-110-R (332) MBE (29.5%), WBE (6.9%) Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing.
