The RFP seeks proposals from qualified Service Providers to provide Architect/Prime Consulting Services for the design and construction of a new, state-of-the-art Zoo Animal Health Centre to replace the existing outdated hospital. This new facility will become a feature and attraction at the Zoo allowing the public to view animal care and ongoing medical research, along with providing care to the Zoo's animals. APC will enter the RAIC Document 6, Canadian Standard Form of Contract for Architectural Services Agreement with the Proponent whose Submission is judged to best serve the interests of APC when evaluated in accordance with the stated evaluation criteria. The total construction budget established for this project is Fifteen Million Dollars ($15,000,000), inclusive of hard construction costs, site work, landscaping, finishes, permits, taxes, etc. and a 15% construction contingency. Anticipated Start Date of Service Agreement November 20, 2024. Anticipated Start Date of Construction February 2026.
