A 5% Bid Security will be required with the bid. The Owner reserves the right to require and pay the cost of 100% Payment and Performance Bonds for the successful Bidder. Mandated wage rates do not apply. New York State MWBE participation goals do apply. Refer to the Request for Proposals for additional requirements. This building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is a National Historic Landmark. Project funding is provided by the New York State Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) Program administered by New York State Homes and Community Renewal. Additional funding is being provided by the City of Auburn utilizing U.S. Department of the Treasury American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding. Under Article 15A & 17B, Executive Law, the State of New York is committed to providing Minority and Women Owned Business (MWBE) equal opportunity to participate in government contracts. The following goals have been set for this project: 20% Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and 10% Women-owned Business Enterprise (WBE). The Contractor, by bidding on the contract, acknowledges understanding and support of this policy and pledges to cooperate fully with The Community Preservation Committee Inc. in meeting NYS requirements as set forth in the Bidding and Contract Documents. The successful bidder may be required to furnish reports showing the participation of various business enterprises of subcontractors and suppliers on the contract.
