A. The work will be done under one prime contract that includes: General, Mechanical, Demolition, Automation, and Low Voltage Wiring construction. B. The following summary is a general guide to the scope of work. It should not be construed as a detailed list of work included in the contract. 1.) All existing BAS software and control hardware shall be replaced with new BAS software and control hardware. This shall take place in phases to minimize any disturbance to the normal operation of MCF Oak Park Heights. 2.) Replace all space temperature sensors throughout the facility with new sensors which are compatible with the new hardware and software. 3.) Replace a selection of other sensors (air temperature, humidity, water temperature, etc.) throughout the facility. 4.) Replace VAV box damper actuators with new electronic actuators. Under the basic scope, the existing VAV boxes and dampers will be retained in place, and the controls will be replaced. The locations of existing VAV boxes are shown on the drawings. 5.) Replace all existing pneumatic control valves with new control valves, with electronic actuators. This involves pipefitting, to accomplish the entire valve replacement. Replace all existing pneumatic damper actuators with new electronic actuators and linkages. The existing dampers will remain.
