The City of Germantown is seeking licensed contractors qualified to perform necessary rehabilitation of stormwater drain and/or sanitary sewer pipelines using proven cured-in-place pipe lining methods. Services will be performed on the City's pipelines including 15-18 inch stormwater collection pipes. The project services will include all necessary labor, equipment, materials, supplies and expertise required to perform a complete turnkey rehabilitation of the project pipelines including typical worksite traffic control, coordination/communication with the affected residents and businesses, and a general performance warranty of at least one (1) year. When required, bid will be accompanied by a 5% Bid Bond or a Cashier's Check in an amount not less than the amount indicated on the Bid. Bid Bonds shall be signed by the bidder and their surety company. Power of Attorney for the person who executes the bond on behalf of the surety as Attorney-In-Fact must accompany the bid bond. When required, bidders must supply certificate of insurance or bonds through a company that is authorized to do business in the State of Tennessee. The City reserves the right to accept bids in part or whole, reject any Bid, or to accept a Bid containing variations from these specifications if the Bid so merits. The Board of Mayor and Aldermen is the final authority and shall have the right to reject any single Bid or all Bids submitted and to make awards, as deemed, to be in its best interest.
