Project consists of furnishing all labor, equipment and materials (except as otherwise specified), and performing all work necessary for the repair and installation of approximately 2,503 square yards of concrete pavement, 31 square yards of concrete sidewalk, and 1,555 linear feet of concrete curb and curb & gutter at various locations throughout the Town, and striping and pavement markings improvements at Ventana Road, Ellard Road and Hickory Creek Boulevard. The construction of 1,124 square yards of concrete sidewalk along Main Street is included as part of the base bid. The construction of 764 square yards of concrete sidewalk along Hickory Creek Road is included as part of an added alternate. The scope of work associated with the project includes concrete pavement, sidewalks, curb and gutter, curb ramps, driveway improvements, integral retaining wall or toe wall, miscellaneous concrete crack repairs, striping and pavement markings & signage improvements. All questions must be submitted in writing to Kevin Gronwaldt at email address kgronwaldt@halff.com. A Bid Bond in the form of a cashier's check, a certified check, or an acceptable bidder's bond made payable without conditions to the "Town of Hickory Creek, Texas" in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid submitted, must accompany each bid as a guarantee that if awarded the contract, the bidder will promptly enter into a contract and execute such bonds as are required and provide evidence of all required insurance coverage. All bidders' security will be retained until a contract has been awarded and executed. The Town reserves the right to accept the bid which, in its judgment is the lowest responsible bid; to reject any or all bids; and to waive irregularities or informalities in any bid received, deemed to be in the best interest of the Town.
