The improvement includes roof replacement for Buildings 26, 27, 28, 80-1, 80-2, 80-3, and Tunnel Stairwell 45-2, including all necessary materials, equipment, labor, miscellaneous associated work, removals, and cleanup, all in accordance with the contract documents including Plan File No. 664-183/193, located at the Wastewater Reclamation Facility, 3000 Vandalia Road, Des Moines, Iowa. The City of Des Moines is pleased to provide accommodations to individuals with disabilities or groups and encourages participation in City government. Engineer's Construction Estimate. $380,000.00 This project shall be fully completed not later than October 31, 2025. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code and as specified by the Jurisdiction. The Des Moines Metropolitan Wastewater Reclamation Authority (Jurisdiction) reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Work on each improvement shall be commenced upon approval of the contract by the WRA Board, and completed as stated below. Question Deadline 10/15/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be directed to the Jurisdiction in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Jurisdiction in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Jurisdiction as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than 10 days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered The City's Overall Annual DBE/TSB Goal for this project is 5.72%
