Utility Shops Improvements- The City of New Richmond public works campus located at 1006 N. Dakota Avenue houses its Public Works, Water Department and Electric Department Shops. Site Address: 1006 N. Dakota Avenue. Description: Repairs of deficiencies in the existing water and electric shop buildings, inc luding but not limited to; overhead garage doors, concrete flat work, replacement of existing service doors, replacement of vehicle trench drain and other miscellaneous repairs. Question Deadline 08/30/2024 ELECTRIC SHOP REPAIRS - SCHEDULE A 1. Remove existing steel roof and replace with new steel roof (building dimensions 75' x 60') 2. Remove two (2) - 22'x12' overhead garage doors and replace with new insulated doors to match door on new addition. Door track, opener, and weather stripping shall also be replaced. 3. Remove existing 12'x12' overhead garage door and replace with new insulated door to match door on new addition. Door track, opener, and weather stripping shall also be replaced. 4. Replace vehicle trench drain system and repair concrete on system. (65' long, 13" wide, 5" deep) WATER SHOP REPAIRS - SCHEDULE B 1. Remove existing steel roof and replace with new steel roof (building dimensions 60' x 60') 2. Remove existing 22'x12' overhead garage door and replace with new insulated door, to match door on new addition. Door track, opener, and weather stripping shall also be replaced. 3. Remove existing 12'x12' overhead garage door and replace with new insulated door, to match door on new addition. Door track, opener and weather stripping shall also be replaced. 4. Remove two radiant heaters and replace with energy efficient natural gas unit heater for 3,600 sq. ft. of building space. 5. Replace existing exterior 36" x 84" x 6" thick concrete door slab ADDITIVE ALTERNATE - SCHEDULE C 1. Install 60' of aluminum seamless gutters on west side of existing water building and downspout to discharge to paved parking lot area. 2. Install 75' of aluminum seamless gutters on north side of existing electric building and downspout to discharge to paved parking lot area. 3. Remove two (2) existing office windows, frame openings and replace steel siding. 4. Remove wall mounted air condition unit, frame opening and replace steel siding. 5. Prep and paint existing water / electric building to match new addition. completion of the project must be completed prior to July 31, 2025.
