**As of September 20, 2024 , this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The work to be completed includes the removal and replacement of some of the failed roadway sections in the subdivision known as the Villages of Limerick. The amount of roadway repair is approximately 1,900 square yards. Bids for the complete work in one or more general contracts shall be made on the bid form provided and shall contain prices in words and figures for the work bid. All bids shall he accompanied by a Bid Bond drawn in favor of the Liberty County Board of Commissioners, in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid for the complete work; such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded the contract will promptly enter into a contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bond as provided by law and approved by the Attorney for the Liberty County Board of Commissioners. Each bond shall be equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. The Bid Bond shall be forfeited to the Liberty County Board of Commissioners as liquidated damages if the Bidder fails to execute the contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within ten (10) days after being notified that he has been awarded the contract. If any person contemplating submitting a bid for the proposed contract is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of -the Drawings, Construction Specifications and other documents, and as to the scope of any part of the work, he must submit to the Engineer a written request for an interpretation thereof The person submitting the request will be responsible for its prompt delivery in ample time for an interpretation to be issued before the Bid opening date. Interpretations of the Project Documents will be made only by Addendum; a copy of each Addendum will be mailed or delivered to each person receiving a set of the Project Documents. The Engineer will not be responsible for other interpretations of the Project Documents.
