Old Settlers Extension (project includes grading, paving, bridges, retaining walls, signing, striping, storm sewer, illumination, curb and gutter, sidewalk and signals), A Pre-Bid conference will NOT be held. Question Deadline 09/16/2024 at 4:00 PM CT Please ask ALL questions on online Bids must be submitted on City of Round Rock bid forms and must be accompanied by an acceptable bid security as outlined in the Instructions to Bidders, payable to the City of Round Rock, Texas equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. Within ten (10) days after written notification of award of the contract, the successful bidder must furnish a performance bond and a payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total Contract Amount. Said performance bond and payment bond shall be from an approved surety company holding a permit from the State of Texas, indicating it is authorized and admitted to write surety bonds in this state. In the event the bond exceeds $100,000.00, the surety must also (1) hold a certificate of authority from the United States secretary of the treasury to qualify as a surety on obligations permitted or required under federal law; or (2) have obtained reinsurance for any liability in excess of $100,000.00 from a reinsurer that is authorized and admitted as a reinsurer in this state and is the holder of a certificate of authority from the United States secretary of the treasury to qualify as a surety or reinsurer on obligations permitted or required under federal law. The City of Round Rock further reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities and irregularities in the bids received. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The engineer estimate is in the $15 to $17 million dollar range
