The Jackson Municipal Airport Authority (JMAA) is seeking bids for construction and related services in connection with the PUBLIC RESTROOM RENOVATIONS at the Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport (the Work). Scope of Work The Scope of Work includes the following renovations: 1. Installation of high efficiency plumbing fixtures and new countertops 2. Construction of high-durability wall, floor, and ceiling finishes 3. New light fixtures 4. New toilet partitions, mirrors, and toilet accessories 5. Americans with Disability Act (ADA) upgrades. JMAA reserves the right to amend the plans and specifications for the Work by Addendum issued before the Bid Deadline; to reject any and all bids; to waive technicalities in the bid proposals. The work consists of Demolition and Construction through Warranty Phase of Public Restroom Renovations at the Main Terminal Building of the JacksonMedgar Wiley Every International Airport (JAN) located in the City of Jackson, Rankin County, Mississippi. The Main Terminal building at (JAN) was first constructed in 1964, has only received minor improvements over the course of its life. Scope will include asbestos abatement, renovation of interior restroom elements, minor interior reconfiguration, ADA upgrades and major renovations of the interior finishes, electrical lighting, and plumbing fixtures. Any questions regarding the Bid Documents or the scope of the project must be submitted in writing to Eric Williams, Director of Procurement. Such request must be in writing and delivered to Eric Williams, Director of Procurement by the Deadline for Questions. The Deadline for Questions is 4:00 pm (CST) on Friday, September 13, 2024.
