Southington Public Schools seek proposals from qualified firms, contractors, or vendors to replace the sound system housed within and broadcasted from the athletic field's bleachers press box at Southington High School. The high school is located at 720 Pleasant Street, Southington, CT. The scope of work and specifications are listed below. Southington High School Athletic Field Sound System Proposal Specifications: 1) Proposers must attend the mandatory walk through and must design their proposal to function properly within the actual space of the Southington High School press box. No change orders or additions to proposals will be allowed. 2) After proposals are open, the scope of the project may be reduced, increased or otherwise adjusted due to budgetary constraints or other reasons. The Southington Schools reserves the right to accept or reject this RFP in whole or in part prior to the award. 3) All equipment furnished under this proposal shall be new. No refurbished equipment will be accepted. Equipment shall be good quality, and the brand names must be identified in the proposal. 4) After removal and approval by the Southington Schools personnel, the existing equipment must be removed and properly disposed of by the successful proposer. 5) The proposals shall include all necessary equipment, wiring, accessories, software, hardware, and for installation services. The proposal must also include training of Southington Schools personnel to install a fully functioning sound system for the high school athletic field. The system should be easy to use and to train users. 6) The proposals must result in an easy-to-use audio system fully scaled to meet the needs of the venue. The proposals must include all installation and programming for the system and equipment.
