Hillsborough County Capital Programs Department requires a qualified Contractor to renovate former offices located in the first-floor southeast corner of the Pat Frank Court building located at 419 Pierce Street, Tampa, FL 33602. Generally, the work includes but is not limited to: Construction of the existing space, approximately 6.228 square feet, located in the southeast corner of the 1st floor Pat Frank Court Building. Selective interior demolition of existing room partitions and finishes and renovation, remodel of interior spaces. The new work will include construction of two (2) judicial Chambers and two (2) courtrooms, Break Room, Jury Room, and existing HVAC, electrical, fire, sprinkler, plumbing work as described on the plans and specifications estimated at $1,835,725.00. Question Deadline 09/05/2024 Online Portal To be given consideration, questions and requests for interpretation must be received no later than 14 calendar days after the date of Solicitation DM/DWBE Goal: In connection with this solicitation and its resulting Contract, a goal of 19% has been established for participation by DM/DWBEs as Subcontractors. Mobilization shall include the obtaining of necessary permits, insurance, and bonds; moving onto the site of all plant and equipment; temporary buildings, temporary utilities and other construction facilities; all as required for the proper performance and completion of the Work. Mobilization shall include, but not be limited to, the following principal items: 1. Install temporary construction power, wiring, and lighting facilities. 2. Establish fire protection plan and safety program. 3. Secure construction water supply. 4. Provide on-site sanitary facilities and potable water facilities as required. 5. Arrange for CONTRACTOR'S field office. 6. Submit all required insurance certificates and bonds. 7. Obtain all required permits. 8. Post all OSHA, EPA, Department of Labor, and all other required notices. 9. Have CONTRACTOR'S superintendent at the job site full time. 10. Submit a detailed construction schedule acceptable to the COUNTY as specified. 11. Erect project construction signs as specified. 12. Submit a finalized schedule of values of the WORK in the COUNTY'S approved format. 13. Submit a finalized schedule of submittals. This procurement requires the successful bidder to meet a subcontracting Disadvantaged Minority/Disadvantaged Women Business Enterprise (DM/DWBE) Participation Goal of [19%].
