The Lift Station 10 (LS 10) Wet Well Cleaning and Force Main Improvements project consists of cleaning a sewer wet well while providing a redundant temporary sewer bypass system, cut- ting and removing the end of the LS 16 force main discharge inside the force main discharge manhole, and mechanical improvements to four air vacuum and air release assemblies (AVARVAS) on the force main. All Bids must be accompanied by a scan of a bid bond, cashier's check, certified check, or postal money order in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid. Actual bid security document(s) must be delivered to 191.00 44th Ave. W., Lynnwood, WA, ATTN. Katie McKee, and received no later than the actual date and time of the bid opening. All Bids shall be based upon compliance with the Project Manual (including, without limitation, the Contract Plans and Specifications). The estimated cost range for this project is $550.000 to $650,000. The project shall be Physically Completed within 25 working days of the Notice to Proceed. The Contractor shall perform no work between the dates of November 23, 2024, and June 1, 2025 (inclusive), During this time, the Contract will be suspended in accordance with WSDOT Standard Specifications Section 1-08.6. These are anticipated dates and may be adjusted by the City. based on observed and anticipated sewer flows at the project site and/or precipitation in the City. The City reserves the right to waive the project suspension if the observed and anticipated sewer flows at the project site and/or precipitation in the City are low enough to justify continu- ation of the work on this project until it is finished. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
