RFQ Contractor - Water Treatment Plant Rehabilitation & Expansion to 37 MGD - Phase I. The Project consists of the following major elements: Rehabilitation of the existing flocculation and sedimentation basins. Rehabilitation and expansion of the existing filter building. Constructing two new flocculation & sedimentation basins. Construction of a new filter building. Rehabilitation of the plant drain pump station. Electrical improvements, including the installation of two new generators. Civil and site improvements including a new entrance road on US Highway 41. Each Bid will be required to be accompanied by a Bid Bond, in the amount of 10 percent of the Bid, prepared on the form of Bid Bond located in the Contract Documents or a Surety Company's Standard Bid Bond, duly executed by the Bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Georgia and listed in the latest issue of U.S. Treasury Circular 570. The successful Bidder for this Contract will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the Bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive informalities and to re-advertise.
