The Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) requires a contractor to perform services to remove existing window A/C units and install/replace with new mini-split units at the Pierre Warehouse/O&M Facility. 1.1.1 Remove the existing 6 window A/C units from the office, the A/C units are mounted in cider block. 1.1.2 After the removal of the existing window A/C units, replace the opening with new cinderblock. 1.1.3 The new mini-split units should be able to cover sufficient cooling and heating for all offices and equipment room. 1.1.4 Electrical runs and disconnects should be included in the quote, the existing power that supplies the existing A/C units should be used where possible. 1.1.5 New units should provide the lowest ambient temperature as possible. 1.1.6 Out of the new six heads the equipment room should have a separate controller, it will require cooling for all seasons. 1.1.7 New units being provided can be wall mounted.
