The work, in general, will include the approximate quantities and items listed below: Clearing and Grubbing - 0.10 acres Sawcut 300 If Excavation-450 Remove Culverts - 650 If Culvert Storm Sewer, 15"-36" HDPE-700 if Culvert Storm Sewer, 53'W x 41"H, CMP Pipe - Arch - 55 If Asphalt Pavement Pulverizing, 6-21,500 sy Crushed Aggregate Base Roadway - 2,160 cy Crushed Aggregate Base Shoulder and Driveways - 1,825 cy Hot Mix Asphalt Pavement, 3.5" - 21,500 sy Hot Mix Asphalt Pavement, Driveways 450 sy Riprap, Medium - 300 sy Traffic Control - 1 Is Pavement Markings, 4" Yellow - 17,000 If Topsoil, Turf, Grasses, and Erosion Mat - 29,235 sy Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check payable to the owner equal to five percent (5%) of the proposal or a bid bond of a bonding company duly authorized to do business in the State of Wisconsin in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the proposal. This proposal guarantee shall be subject to forfeiture as provided by law. When submitting an electronic bid, Bidder is required to deliver the original certified check or bid bond within 72 hours of bid opening to Cedar Corporation. This project is part of a Local Road Improvement Program (LRIP) TRIS Program which consists of road improvements for an existing road, including clearing and grubbing, pulverize existing asphalt and base, excavation, storm sewer culverts, crushed aggregate base, hot mix asphalt pavement, and restoration. Proposals shall not be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after the date of opening. The Town of Eaton reserves the right to reject any or all of the proposals and to waive any informalities therein.
