Lone Pine Irrigation District Piping Project The work contemplated consists of, but is not limited to the following major items as further defined in the Proposal Documents: . Furnishing, welding and installation of HDPE Solid-Wall Pipe (42-IN down to 4-IN), welded side-saddle turnouts and delivery assemblies, . Revising and/or furnishing, and installing a 12-IN Pressure Reducing Valve Assembly, a 48-IN butterfly valve assembly and Vault, a 48-IN meter and meter Vault, . Associated mobilization, selective demolition, trenching, earthwork, backfill, compaction, surface restoration, other restoration, . Coordination for utilities, utility relocations as necessary, road crossings and permitting, coordination with Owner and Owner's Engineer and all other associated meter assemblies, stub turnouts, cleanouts, air and vacuum valve assemblies, valves and valve cans and appurtenances necessary to provide a complete project, ready for irrigation delivery. The contract time will be limited to two separate Substantial Completion periods (Year 1 and Year 2 Work): The first construction period will be from October 15, 2024 through March 31, 2025. The second construction period will be from October 15, 2025 through March 31, 2026. The work scheduled for each "Year" is defined in the project plans and Proposal Documents. All pipe and materials for the project will be supplied by the Contractor. Substantial completion of all work included in the contract agreement must be attained by March 31, 2026. Liquidated damages of $2,000.00 per day for the first 10 days and $10,000.00 per day thereafter shall be assessed should the contractor fail to achieve substantial completion within the time allowed. Restoration, demobilization from the site and all closeout and punch-list items are to be completed by Final Completion - April 30, 2026. Contractors shall use recyclable products to the maximum extent economically feasible in the performance of the contract work. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises are encouraged to propose on this project. The project and associated Proposal are subject to grant conditions provided in the Proposal Documents. This project is subject to Oregon prevailing wage laws and the Federal Davis-Bacon Act (ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870), whichever is higher. The Owner is using the Best Value Procurement method for selecting a Contractor for this Project, based upon a combination of scoring for a Qualifications Element and a Proposal Cost Element. Details for Proposing are contained in the Instructions to Proposers of the Proposal Documents. Each Proposal must be submitted as prescribed and accompanied by a certified check or Proposal bond executed on the form bound within the Contract Documents or one substantially similar, payable to the Lone Pine Irrigation District, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount Proposal. The successful Proposer will be required to furnish a performance bond and payment bond, each in the full amount of the contract price.
