The Georgian Hills MS Roof Replacement scope of work includes, but not limited to the complete roof replacement. Shelby County Board of Education (SCBE) is the legal name of the Memphis-Shelby County Schools (MSCS) district. Relevant, Rigorous, and Equitable Academics The SCBE requests bids for Georgian Hills MS Roof Replacement. The specifications are contained in the Design Project Manual. Responses submitted must meet or exceed all requirements. Bids that do not meet or exceed all requirements will be considered non-responsive. The Georgian Hills MS Roof Replacement scope of work includes, but not limited to the complete roof replacement. The Scope of Work for the Georgian Hills MS Roof Replacement project shall include and not be limited to the following: o Full roof replacement of Georgian Hills MS in accordance with the MSCS Design Planning Principles and Construction Guidelines-latest edition. o Full roof replacement including removal of all existing roof components to the existing deck. o Install new R-30 minimum insulation with proper slope to drainage points. o Install new single-ply roof membrane for 20-year warranty. o Install new metal edges and flashings. o Install new through-wall flashings where needed. o Raise any mechanical and piping to new roof heights. o New installation includes but is not limited to flashing, blocking, counter flashing, coping, drip edges, gutter, downspouts, walk pads, expansion joints, roof hatch/ ladders, crickets, etc. o Please refer to the approved Construction Documents for the more detailed Scope of Work o Specifications for the Georgian Hills MS Roof Replacement project can be found in the link below Addendum #1-#5 have been issued as of 9-9-2024.
