As of Septmeber 25, 2024 this project was awarded to S&L Inc, but the awarded amount is not available. This contract will perform all the storm drain collection and concrete work outside the pool coping. Pleasant Grove City Public Works/Engineering Department, "City" is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors, "Proposer" to provide concrete flatwork and storm drain installation services. Over the past years the pool and surrounding concrete showed signs of settling. This settling caused concerns with the pools ability to filter properly. CEM Aquatics will be performing all the work directly related to the pool and the coping around the pool. Before CEM Aquatics can proceed with the coping and concrete curb connecting the pool wall and the concrete deck surrounding the pool, the first 5 ft of concrete flatwork surrounding the pool must be installed before September 30, 2024. This contract will perform all the storm drain collection and concrete work outside the pool, including the concrete deck up to the pool. The contractor will be able to perform this work on their schedule before May 1, 2025. Work may begin as soon as possible; however the critical path installation of other items installed by others are scheduled to be installed by the end of September will dictate when concrete surface can be placed outside of the first 5 ft from the pool.
