The Estimated Trade Construction Cost for Phases 1, 2, and 3 are $3.0M, $2.8M, $2.5M, respectively. Combined, the total Estimated Trade Construction Cost for the Project is $8.3M. Preconstruction Services and Lease-Leaseback Services for SDUHSD Modernization Project: Oak Crest Middle School Modernization of Crest Hall, and Balance of Fire Road; Canyon Crest Academy Blackbox Theater Modernization, and Nutrition Services HVAC Improvement; and Diegueno Middle School Locker Room Modernization San Dieguito Union High School District of San Diego County, California, acting by and through its Governing Board, hereinafter referred to as the DISTRICT, will receive, sealed statements of qualifications and proposals (SOQ/P) from pre-qualified lease-leaseback construction services entities to provide preconstruction services and lease-leaseback services for the San Dieguito Union High School District Modernization Project (the "Project"), consisting of the Oak Crest Middle School Modernization of Crest Hall and the Balance of Fire Road; Canyon Crest Academy Blackbox Theater Modernization and Nutrition Services HVAC Improvement; and Diegueno Middle School Locker Room Modernization, in accordance with the lease-leaseback structure set forth in Education Code 17406 et seq. All responses must be under sealed cover. District will not accept any responses by facsimile or electronic mail transmission. The outside of the envelope shall bear the name and address of the respondent and the RFQ/P name and number. The District reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the RFQ/P response. The District reserves the right to reject any or all RFQ/P responses and to negotiate contract terms with one or more respondents. All respondents are required to be prequalified with the District at least five (5) business days prior to the deadline for submitting SOQs in accordance with Public Contract Code 20111.6. Prequalification questionnaires must be submitted by no later than September 2, 2024. Submission of a prequalification questionnaire does not guarantee approval. Interested bidders are highly encouraged to submit their prequalification packets prior to the deadline. Minority, women, and disabled veteran contractors are encouraged to submit bids. This bid is subject to Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise requirements. Questions regarding this RFQ/P may be directed in writing only to rfis@sduhsd.net.
