The Project includes the following approximate Work: 280 feet of 6-inch (IN), 84 feet of 8-IN, and 2,250 feet of 12-IN polyvinyl chloride water main, including hydrants, 1 1/4 high density polyethylene water services, and trench patching. The Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to OWNER in an amount of 5% of the Bidder's maximum Bid price. The Village of Lannon reserves the right to any or all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any Bid which it deems advantageous. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 90 days after the time set for receiving Bids Contract award shall be made based on the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Domestic Preference This project is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) requirements under Title IX of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), Pub. L. 117-58, 70901-70953. Absent an approved waiver, all iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used in this project must be produced in the United States.
