Location: Portland International Jetport 1001 Westbrook Street Portland, Maine 04102 Outline of Work: Traffic control, earthwork, paving, pavement markings, signage, sidewalk construction, riprap slope construction, chain-link fencing, roadway widening, demolition of existing features, improvements and relocation of existing guardrail, installation of new guardrail, general conditions, erosion control, work shown on project plans and as required to complete the project, coordination with Jetport Operation and compliance with FAA requirements. Bonds: A bid bond is not required for the bid. 100% payment and performance bonds are required by the successful bidder prior to execution of a contract Contractor shall be fully aware of the site conditions, always maintaining one-lane of traffic, providing traffic flaggers and traffic signage (MUTCD compliant), height restrictions adjacent to active runway and working adjacent to steep slope areas. In addition, the project location is adjacent to the threshold for runway 18. Contractor will have restricted height limitations for equipment and shall limit equipment heights of not more than 20 feet and as directed by Jetport Operations and Air Traffic Control. Equipment shall be flagged per FAA requirements The Contractor shall mobilize no earlier than April 12, 2025, and shall complete the work in its entirety by June 20, 2025. Liquidated damages will not be assessed, however, if the Contractor is determined by the Jetport to not be responsive, the owner reserves the right to withhold money from the Contractor until such work is completed to the satisfaction of the owner and/or terminate the contact retaining sufficient funds to complete the project
