The project involves furnishing all labor, supervisors, equipment, machinery, tools, materials, transportation, and other services necessary for the replacement of existing sanitary forcemains, services, and appurtenances; grouting and proper disposal or abandonment of existing utilities; and all other elements as indicated on the associated construction plans and specifications. The contractor shall be responsible for the demolition of existing aerial crossings, piles, and supports. The contractor shall be responsible for protection of all irrigation and other underground utilities; and protection of adjacent buildings including air conditioning units, and appurtenances. The contractor shall be responsible for restoration of trees, shrubbery and sodding of all disturbed areas. The general location of the project sites is along the C-17 Canal in the SFWMD right-of-way to Marsh Harbor in Riviera Beach, Florida; and along the M Canal and an FPL transmission easement in West Palm Beach, Florida. Question Deadline 08/29/2024 at 5:00 PM ET All questions and communications concerning this solicitation and procurement process MUST be submitted in writing. PAPER BID SUBMITTALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. It will be the sole responsibility of the Contractor to become familiar with the scope of services, CITY / USD's requirements, and systems prior to submitting a bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids/proposals, and the award, if award is made, will be made to the lowest responsible bidder whose qualifications indicate the award will be in the best interest of the Owner and whose bid/proposal complies with all the prescribed requirements.
