UES Project No. 3330.2300098.0000 Question Deadline 08/26/2024 at 5:00 PM ET Bidders may submit questions via email to Desiree Cimino at ciminod@stlucieco.org Okeechobee Road Watermain & Sanitary Forcemain Extension Project It is St. Lucie County s Intent to Award a Construction Contract to One or More Qualified Bidders to Perform Construction-related Services for Approximately 19,450 Linear Feet of 12 Pvc Water Main, 2,800 Lf of 14 Hdpe Water Main by Directional Drilling, 16,900 Lf of 12 Pvc Force Main, 3,050 Lf of 14 Hdpe Force Main by Directional Drilling, and Associated Valves, Fittings, and Appurtenances Along State Route 70 (Sr-70) Starting at the Intersection of Sr-70 and Midway Road and Ending at Sally Chupco Tommy Way. The Contractor Will Be Expected to Provide Connections to the Existing 12 Water Main, 10 Water Main, and 16 Water Main and Connection to the 6 Force Main Located Near Sally Chupco Tommy Way as Well as a Connection to a 12 Force Main at a Different Location. Provide Future Sanitary Sewer Collection and Transmission and Potable Water Supply to Residential and Commercial Properties Located in the Project Area. No New Services Are Proposed as Part of This Project. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to waive any informalities or minor irregularities; reject any and all bids/proposals which are incomplete, conditional, obscure, or which contain additions not allowed for; accept or reject any proposal in whole or in part with or without cause; and accept the proposal which best serves the County. In addition to the non-mandatory pre-bid conference referenced above where Bidders will have an opportunity to pose questions, Bidders may submit questions via email to Desiree Cimino at ciminod@stlucieco.org no later than 5:00 p.m. on August 26, 2024. All Bidders are required to submit a five percent (5%) Bid Bond with the Bid Form, or their bid shall be rejected as non-responsive. A one hundred percent (100%) Public Construction Bond for both payment and performance is required upon notification of St. Lucie Countys intention to award the contract to the apparent successful bidder.
