The work for CONTRACT NO 145, WOODROW PUMP STATION UPGRADES includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the work shown on the Drawings and as described in the Specifications. The work involves the excavation and installation of a new precast concrete wet well and valve vault, installation of pump bases with discharge piping and fittings, connecting sanitary sewer gravity and force main connections, electrical conduit and conductor installations, concrete apron and driveway improvements along with other various upgrades. The work is located within Egg Harbor Township, at the intersection of Coolidge Avenue and Woodrow Avenue. The work shall be completed within one hundred twenty (120) days of the Notice to Proceed or subject to liquidated damages of $500.00 per day. No bid will be received unless in writing on the forms furnished, and unless accompanied by bid security in the form of a bid bond or certified check made payable to the Owner in an amount equal to 10% of the amount of the total bid, provided that the said security need not be more than $20,000 nor less than $500.00 and be delivered at the place on or before the hour named above. The Owner shall award the Contract or reject all bids within 60 days of bid opening, except that the bids of any bidders who consent thereto may, at the request of the Owner, be held for consideration for such longer period as may be agreed. The Owner will evaluate bids and any award will be made to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor informalities or irregularities in bids received.
