PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF WORK a) Scope of Work - See Attachment 10 and Attachment 11, Model Contract Exhibit A - Scope of Work and Model Contract Exhibit A1 -Plans & Materials Cost Estimate, for a detailed description of the services and work to be performed as a result of this procurement. b) Purpose - The purpose of this Agreement is construction/installation of a perimeter security fence and gates at the Huntington Beach Field Office to provide: i) Enhanced Security: Security fencing and gates help prevent unauthorized access, ensuring that only authorized personnel and visitors can enter the premises. ii) Deterrence: The presence of physical barriers can deter potential intruders, vandals, and other threats. iii) Safety: Fencing and gates can provide a safe environment for employees and visitors by keeping out potential threats and ensuring that the premises are secure from outside dangers. iv) Perimeter Security: Physical barriers define the boundaries of the property, making it easier to monitor and control the perimeter. c) Location of Work - The work is located in Orange County at the State Lands Commission, Huntington Beach Field Office, 1700 Pacific Coast Highway, Huntington Beach, CA 92648. The single story building was constructed in the early forties, with a total area of 3,780 square feet.
