Leaf Hauling and Disposal Rebid The City is seeking bids from qualified contractors for services to load, transport and dispose of City curb side collected loose leaves from the Public Works Facility located at 16500 Annapolis Road, Bowie, Maryland 20715 and Black Sox Park located at 2201 Mitchellville Road, Bowie, Maryland 20716. The contractor will be responsible for supplying all labor, equipment and materials necessary to load and transport all loose leaves to a properly licensed disposal site and to dispose of the leaves. The contractor shall identify the contractor's disposal site(s) and all tipping fee. The contractor will be required to provide a submit for each disposal site proposed to be used for disposal of collected loose leaves, a statement including the name and address of the each such facility and certifying that the facility is either permitted by Maryland for composting, or that it meets applicable State and County regulations related to its operation. Bids will only be accepted by the City of Bowie, Maryland, if submitted in accordance with these instructions, the General Conditions and any other attached bid documents. A bid security in the amount of Five Percent (5%) of the bid amount (If the IFB contemplates a multiyear Contract, 5% of the total first year bid) in the form of a bid bond shall accompany this bid. All questions or requests for clarifications regarding this IFB shall be submitted through the Online _Leaf_Hauling_And_Disposal_Rebid, prior to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 17, 2024. Written responses to all questions and/or requests for clarifications will be issued no later than Wednesday, September 18, 2024, to all those who have expressed interest in this IFB through the online.
