The City is seeking to hire a Contractor for the construction of the new Embleton Recreation Centre. The Embleton Recreation Centre will provide the Bram West community with a multi-use, multi-seasonal facility that will accommodate multi-generational programming. Stemming from the needs identified in the Parks and Recreation Master Plan (2017), at approximately 165,000 sq.ft., the Recreation Centre will consist of an aquatics facility, gymnasium, fitness centre and community spaces, complemented by a number of outdoor recreational amenities. Substantial Performance of the Work shall be by Fall 2026. Bidders must have been in the construction contracting business, under the same company name, for a minimum of ten (10) years with full time management and supervisory staff, and demonstrate that they have completed projects with a combined annual value of no less than ninety million dollars ($90,000,000.00) per year for the past five (5) years.
