The Project is expected to be awarded Mid-October.** Engineer's Estimate: $1,923,560.89 || The work includes the installation of PVC C-900 Class 305 DR14 pipe water main and all appurtenances, abandonment of existing water main and all appurtenances, replacement and reconnection of existing fire hydrant(s), installation of new fire hydrant(s), traffic control and maintenance of pedestrian access, import of clean fill, removal and replacement of asphalt concrete and PCC concrete sidewalk, curb and gutter, and curb ramps within the project limits, and other work as shown on the plans or as specified in the specifications. A valid Class A license or other combination of any Class C licenses that constitutes a majority of the contract work must be in the possession of the successful bidder at the time the bid is submitted The time limit for the completion of work is one hundred ten (110) working days. The first day of this time period will be no later than the 28th calendar day after the contract award Pursuant to the California Public Contract Code, securities may be substituted for money withheld to insure contract performance. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in such bids and, if awarded, to award the contract in the best interest of the City.
