The Greenwood County Sherriff's Office is requesting proposals for the removal of VCT flooring and the subsequent refinishing of the existing concrete sub-flooring in Cell Units A and B of the Greenwood County Detention Center, located at 500 Edgefield Street, Greenwood, SC 29646. Cell Block Units A and B are approximately 2400 sq. ft. Deadline for Questions August 14, 5:00 PM Specific procurement questions related to this proposal should be sent by email to Anita Baylor, Procurement Officer, at abaylor@greenwoodsc.gov SCOPE OF WORK The successful vendor shall be responsible for the: o Flooring replacement and refinishing of Cell Block Units A and B at the Greenwood County Detention Center, a total of approximately 24,000 sq. ft. (to be verified by the successful vendor). o This work will be completed in phases to be determined. o Demo, removal and disposal of existing VCT flooring in Cell Block Units A and B. o Mechanically prep and clean surface to be coated. o Refinish existing floor surface in Cell Block Units A and B with a durable, non-slip, resin type coating. Vendors may submit information for a particular floor coating product (epoxy, polyurethane, rubber, etc.). The County shall decide if the floor-coating product meets the quality and durability that is desired. o Installation of a 4" cove base of floor coating product where flooring meets vertical walls in Cell Blocks Unit A and B
