A Bid bond, certified check or cash in the amount of 10% of the bid amount is required to be submitted with each bid, payable to Waymart Borough, as a guarantee of the bidder's willingness to execute the contract if awarded the same. The project consists primarily of construction of sanitary sewer and water lines, asphalt paving, gravel paving, line striping, chain link fencing, placement of topsoil, and sod turf, construction of the baseball infield, and construction of a warning track . Questions Due Date : Sep 18th 2024, 4:00 PM EDT Award of Contract, if a Contract is awarded, will be to the lowest responsible bidder, but the Owner reserves the unqualified right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. The work in connection with this project constitutes a Public Works by a Public Body project. Bidders are advised that prevailing minimum wage rates, as set forth in the Contract Documents, must be paid to workmen employed on this project. In addition, the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or disability. 1. Site utilities (water and sewer), asphalt paving, gravel paving, chain link fencing, excavation, line striping and signage. 2. Construction of field surfaces 3. Construction of paving for bleachers. 4. Dugouts and maintenance building. 5. Field Lighting & Electrical. 6. Supply and Install aluminum bleachers. 7. Supply and install scoreboard.
